Dear NEST Users & Developers! I would like to invite you to our next fortnightly Open NEST Developer Video Conference today *Monday July 13, at 11:30 CEST (UTC+0200).* As usual, in the Project team round, a contact person of each team will give a short statement summarizing ongoing and planned work in the team and highlight cross-cutting points that need discussion among the teams. The remainder of the meeting we would go into a more in-depth discussion of topics that came up on the mailing list or that are suggested by the teams. Feel free to join the meeting also if it’s just to bring your own quick questions for direct discussion in the in-depth section. Save the date: NEST Hackathon @ NMBU Ås 7 – 10 September

Dear NEST Community, We are going to have the next NEST Hackathon at NMBU in Ås, Norway, from Monday 7 September to Thursday 10 September. If you would like to join, mark it in your calendar! There is no participation fee for the Hackathon, but you need to cover all cost for travel and accomodation yourself. For accomodation, there are several options: * SiÅs (student social services) guest apartments on campus (https://www.sias.no/housing/sias-guest-accommodation/) * Thon Hotel at Ski (good train connection from Oslo airport, good train and bus connections to NMBU, NOK 379 for a weekly ticket) * A hotel in Oslo (fast trains to Ås, NOK 662 for the monthly ticket) * Hotels in Drøbak (by the sea, nice touristically, bus connection to NMBU, slightly longer from the airport, NOK 379 for the weekly ticket that gets you to campus; some hotels might be a bit of a walk from the bus stop) * There should also be AirBnB options * Since we will be in term in September, student housing is, unfortunately, not an option I will get back to you with more information in early August.
