This includes v2.20.1https://github.com/nest/nest-simulator/releases/tag/v2.20.1, which I would recommend over 2.20.0, as it contains a fix for #1394https://github.com/nest/nest-simulator/issues/1394, which could lead to wrong simulation results under certain circumstances.

I solved the issue before by changing the NEST_PYTHON_PREFIX with python3.8 path, but now I am receiving another error and I dont know if the error is more related to PyNN or still to nest installation

Hi Alberto,
it looks like you're using a version of PyNN that does not support NEST 2.20. We'd recommend you upgrade to NEST 3, otherwise you'll have to downgrade PyNN to a version that was written to support NEST2.20. PyNN is a tool independent of NEST and we cannot support you further there.

I have installed nest 2.20, but now having this issue related the calling with pyNN
the idea is to use python3.8, but seems it's going to use python2.7, is this the possible issue?
