error in making new module

No Open NEST Developer VC today

Dear all, During running my network in nest, I faced with this error, can you help me how can I remove this error?you seem to be using NEST via an MPI launcher like mpirun, mpiexec or srun although NEST was not compiled with MPI support. Best, Atiyeh

Hi Atiyeh

the conda package is not built with mpi support. To activate it, I recommend you to install NEST from source. Please take a look at the documentation here: https://nest-simulator.readthedocs.io/en/stable/installation/developer.html#...

What Steffen says.

Plus the message you're receiving is not an error, but just a warning. It might be caused by your runtime environment. If you don't intend to run MPI-parallelized, you can just ignore it and don't have to follow Steffen's advice.
