Dear Alberto and NEST users, Do you know that you can get access for free to the top EU HPCs inclusive LUMI that has AMD processors? National Centres of Competences (NCCs) for High-Performance Computing are in each EU country and are part of EuroCC https://www.eurocc-access.eu and EuroHPC JU https://eurohpc-ju.europa.eu/index_en EuroHPC JU is a joint initiative between the EU, European countries and private partners to develop a World Class Supercomputing Ecosystem in Europe. For example, I work in Swedish NCC: https://enccs.se/ The focus of NCCs is to: 1. Provide free access to the best EU supercomputers. We are in pre-exascale right now before JUPITER is coming. 2. Improve the public’s competence about HPCs and Technologies generally. On HPC, in the past years we have always been using Intel-based nodes (e.g., Xeon Gold). I just wanted to check if there are possible issues in using these nodes or if others have already been using multi-CPU AMD nodes successfully. Thank you and have a great weekend!
